Clover Frederick
Cause Camp Vice President
Clover Frederick is the creator/director of the Nonprofit Marketing Network. In this roll, Clover plugs local nonprofits into a network of marketing professionals “with a conscience” who are willing and able to offer reduced rates or volunteer their time. In 2011, Clover walked away with the coveted Marketer of the Year Award for her highly effective efforts on behalf of her clients.
This year, Clover will be the Cause Camp VP for the third year in a row. This annual event offers marketing training to local non-profits. Clover also serves on the marketing committee of the Lincoln Young Professionals Group, as the Community Vice President of the Junior League of Lincoln (where she was named 2011's Volunteer of the Year), the Fundraising Co-Chair for MilkWorks, and a marketing and event planning volunteer for the YWCA.
Clover settled in Nebraska when she attended Concordia University in Seward, Neb. While earning her BA in communication, she served as editor of her college newspaper, The Sower. She received her MA in advertising, marketing and communication studies from UNL. She resides in Lincoln with her husband, Matt, and two young daughters.
What Clover LOVES about marketing:
"No matter the budget, a business or nonprofit can spread their story and create brand advocates. I stay inspired and passionate by working with highly appreciative clients who find that marketing needn’t be as scary as they imagined it to be."
