Jessica Kinser, Communications Vice President

As Marketing Director for Native American Public Telecommunications, Inc. (NAPT), Jessica develops, implements and evaluates marketing plans and strategies for NAPT products and services. She oversees the design and publication of all promotional materials, manages the marketing budget and assists with fundraising. NAPT supports the creation, promotion and distribution of Native media through the Internet and Public Radio and Television.
Jessica graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications degree in Broadcasting with concentrations in English, History and Music. During her time at UNL, Jessica also completed a documentary on the Omaha Nation and the preserving of their language.
Jessica currently serves on the board of the Lincoln, Nebraska, Chapter of the American Marketing Association as Vice President of Communications, and is a member of Rotary Club #14. She has also volunteered numerous times with various non-profit organizations in her community such as the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, the American Red Cross and JDRF.
In 2007, Jessica was the recipient of the Lincoln Public Schools’ Gold Star Award for her service to the school district. In 2010, Jessica was awarded the Dorothy B. Clark President’s Award from the American Marketing Association for her service and dedication to the Marketing field.
Prior to NAPT, Jessica worked at the full-service advertising agency Swanson Russell where she managed the details of each project, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and technical specifications were met. She kept clients informed while projects moved from concept to completion. She also served as a webmaster for Lincoln Public Schools and an on-air radio talent and producer for the Broadcast House. A former swim coach, Jessica is a fish out of water—returning to the pool anytime she can.
